I would like to thank those of you that realize a person died that day (my son). Ronnie did not pull the trigger that killed my son, but he did challenge Marcel to a fight and did bring his best friend who not only had a gun but also had a bandana over his face. You cannot tell me that Ronnie did not know this... he was in the same truck!

I have already seen posts that blame me for ruining teenagers lives and posts saying "f*** that bitches son - people care more about Escape The Fate than her gay @ss son". To those people... you don't know me or my son and I will try not to take these attacks to heart. To answer questions... Michael did have an older sister and 2 younger brothers, a mother, a father, a step-mother, a step-father, a serious girl in his life, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who miss him daily. There have been 3 babies named after him so far.

To those of you showing your sympathy and compassion... thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means a lot.

Marcel Colquitt was who Ronnie challenged to the fight. He felt a lot of guilt over my sons death and did commit suicide on Sept. 19th at the age of 22. To Escape the Fate... I have talked to one of the members of the band on a couple of occasions. I have nothing against the band and wish them all of the success in the world and they know that. This horrible event involved Ronnie not Escape the Fate. Don't blame the band.

One more thing -- regarding the restitution that Ronnie was ordered to pay. I did not ask for anything but Justice. The Judge ordered the restitution. I could really give a flying crap about money. It will never bring back what I want most in my life -- my son Michael.

Again, if you think I am a gold digger.... you don't know me at all and its a shame. I am a damn good person :)

Je voudrais remercier ceux d'entre vous qui se rendent compte qu'une personne est morte ce jour-là (mon fils). Ronnie n'a pas appuyé sur la détente qui a tué mon fils, mais il a provoqué Marcel à un combat, et a amené son meilleur ami qui n'avait pas seulement un pistolet mais portait aussi un bandana pour se cacher le visage. Vous ne pouvez pas me dire que Ronnie ne le savait pas… il était dans le même bateau !

J'ai déjà vu des commentaires me reprochant de ruiner la vie d'adolescents, et des commentaires disant 'j'emme*** ce fils de pute - les gens s'inquiètent plus pour Escape The Fate que pour son enculé de fils'. A ces personnes… vous ne connaissez ni moi ni mon fils, et je vais essayer de ne pas prendre ces attaques à cœur. Pour répondre aux questions… Michael avait une grande sœur et deux petits frères, une mère, un père, une belle-mère, un beau-père, une fille sérieuse dans sa vie, et de nombreux tantes, oncles, cousins et amis à qui il manque tous les jours. Il y a trois bébés qui portent son nom jusqu'à présent.

A ceux d'entre vous qui montrent de la pitié et de la compassion… merci du fond du cœur. Cela représente beaucoup pour moi.

Cet horrible incident a impliqué Ronnie, pas Escape The Fate. Je ne blâme pas le groupe.

Encore une chose -- concernant la restitution qu'il a été ordonné de payer à Ronnie. Je n'ai rien demandé d'autre que la Justice. C'est le Juge qui a ordonné la restitution. Je m'en tape de l'argent. Ca ne ramènera jamais ce que je veux le plus dans ma vie -- mon fils Michael.

Encore, si vous pensez que je suis avide d'argent.... vous ne me connaissez pas du tout et c'est une honte. Je suis quelqu'un de bien :)
