Las Vegas Rockers Enter The Studio To Record With New Singer

With an uncanny ability to always land on their feet, notorious Vegas rock group Escape the Fate have begun writing and recording with a spectacular new singer and a superstar producer. With John Feldmann (The Used, Story of the Year) lending his talents as both producer and songwriter, and with the addition of singer Craig Mabbitt, formerly of Bless the Fall, Escape the Fate are on track to make an even more amazing record than their stellar 2006 debut.

Following the departure of singer Ronnie Radke in early 2008, the band performed a handful of shows with Mabbitt, and the personal and creative connection was immediate. A fan of both ETF and Mabbitt, Feldmann was the natural choice to produce, and in April, Escape the Fate began recording the follow-up to 2006's Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, which featured the massive hit song "Situations." "People are going to be blown away and definitely surprised when they hear Craig's vocals mixed with Escape's diverse sound," explains bassist Max Green. "This is the next generation of rock." The yet-untitled record is tentatively scheduled for a fall release.

"I'm excited to have the opportunity to continue making music with a group of amazing people," says Mabbitt. "I'm loving what's coming out of us in the studio right now and things couldn't be going better. Escape the Fate is taking over the world, so buckle your seatbelts 'cause we're here to stay."

After Radke's dramatic departure, wild speculation spread across the internet regarding the future of Escape the Fate and direction the band would take if they were to continue on. However, fans can breathe a sigh of relief: the turmoil has left the band even more determined and fired up. "We've been through a lot of shit this last year, and we took all that anger, frustration and sadness and molded it into an album with huge rock choruses, in your face riffs and melodies, and drums that will give your parents a heart attack," explains Green. "This new album isn't going to be a hardcore metal album and it's not going to be a soft melodic album, we are who we are, we are Escape the Fate."

Avec une étrange habileté à toujours retomber sur leurs pieds, le tristement célèbre groupe de rock de Vegas Escape The Fate a commencé à écrire et enregistrer avec un nouveau chanteur spectaculaire et un producteur superstar. Avec John Feldmann (The Used, Story of the Year) prêtant ses talents en tant que producteur et auteur compositeur, et avec l'addition du chanteur Craig Mabbitt, anciennement de Bless The Fall, Escape The Fate est en piste pour faire un album encore plus stupéfiant qu'à leurs débuts stellaires en 2006.

A la suite du départ du chanteur Ronnie Radke début 2008, le groupe a fait une poignée de concerts avec Mabbitt, et la connexion personnelle et créative a été immédiate. Fan à la fois d'ETF et de Mabbitt, Feldmann a été un choix naturel pour la production, et en avril, Escape The Fate a commencé à enregistrer la suite de Dying Is Your Latest Fashion de 2006, qui contenait l'énorme tube "Situations". "Les gens vont être emportés et seront certainement surpris quand ils entendront la voix de Craig mélangée avec les divers sons d'Escape", explique le bassiste Max Green. "C'est la prochaine génération du rock." L'album, qui n'a pas encore de nom, est provisoirement prévu pour une sortie en automne.

"Je suis excité d'avoir l'opportunité de continuer à faire de la musique avec un groupe de personnes géniales", dit Mabbitt. "J'adore ce qui sort de nous en studio en ce moment et les choses ne pourraient pas aller mieux. Escape The Fate se diffuse partout dans le monde, alors bouclez vos ceintures parce que nous nous sommes ici pour longtemps."

Après le départ dramatique de Radke, de sauvages spéculations se sont propagées sur internet concernant l'avenir d'Escape The Fate et la direction que le groupe allait prendre s'ils continuaient. Cependant, les fans peuvent pousser un soupir de soulagement : cette agitation a laissé le groupe encore plus déterminé et gonflé à bloc qu'avant. "Nous avons traversé beaucoup de merdes l'année passée, et nous avons pris toute cette colère, cette frustration et cette tristesse et l'avons modelé en un album avec un rock énorme de choeurs, riffs et mélodies dans ta face, et des percussions qui donneront à vos parents une crise cardiaque", explique Green. "Ce nouvel album ne sera pas un album de hardcore métal et ne ce ne sera pas un album mélodique doux, nous sommes qui nous sommes, nous sommes Escape The Fate."
